How To Find The West Park Centre
The full address is: The West Park Centre, Spen Lane, Leeds LS16 5BE.
The West Park Centre is a large, 60s style school building, with extensive playing fields. We usually meet in the Rehearsal Room along the corridor to the right inside the Main Entrance but it is best to check the notice on the stand in the foyer as changes do occur.
The centre is approximately 4 miles from the centre of Leeds, located not far from the point where the road from Leeds to Otley (the A660) crosses the Leeds Ring Road. If you are coming from outside Leeds then either head directly for the Leeds Ring Road, or go to the centre of town and then follow the so-called “Loop”, which will guide round the city centre. Keep your eyes open for signs to the University, Headingley, or Otley (A660). This will take you out of Leeds going north on Woodhouse Lane which turns into Otley Road. Note that the Headingley area can be very congested with traffic during the day, and that the visitor entrance to the centre is not very well signed (look out for two stone gateposts).
Coming by Bus?
If you come by bus, the First Bus website has a helpful journey planner. You just type in your starting point and destination and off you go. The starting point does not have to be in Leeds.
