We are delighted to announce a Playday for members and friends of YLSS on Sunday 3 September, 11am to 5pm, taking place at Adel Methodist Church, Holt Lane, Leeds LS16 7NS .

Our Playdays are an opportunity to explore a more substantial piece of work over the course of the day with a guest conductor - in this case Laurence Hughes, a cellist and tutor that has worked with YLSS a number of times over the last year. The day will include important cake-breaks and participants are invited to bring along their own lunch.

We are very pleased that we will be working on Respighi's 3rd Suite of Ancient Airs and Dances and you can check out a video of the work here (although this is probably a little faster than we'll be playing it!).  Music will be sent in advance to all those who register.
